The former Bavarian Minister of Science and current Vice President of the Bavarian State Parliament Dr. Wolfgang Heubisch informs himself at HM and SCE. During his term as Minister of Science from 2008 to 2013, Dr. Wolfgang Heubisch was a regular guest at HM. Today, the FDP politician is Vice President of the Bavarian State Parliament and Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Science and the Arts.

On July 19, 2023, Munich Startup celebrates the Munich startup scene with the Munich Startup Festival. On the Mainstage at Backstage Munich, Munich Unicorns, top politicians and well-known founders will hold the microphone. In addition, there is a Startup Exhibition with more than 25 exhibiting startups & network partners and top-class workshops that provide valuable insider knowledge for startups. Soon the new water gun season will start - good news for SCE Startup Alumni Spyra, whose patented and multiply protected high-tech water guns enjoy great popularity. But this market also sparks covetousness. Spyra has already felt this clearly in the past, when the water pistols were often confronted with product piracy - especially by counterfeit products from the Far East. Now tech giant Xiaomi has announced its entry into the water gun business. This means that the debate about Spyra's intellectual property rights may be entering a decisive round.

The software of the AI start-up Flowsight has convinced the jury of the BMWK ideas competition with its intelligent process optimization, which makes predictive maintenance in the process industry possible, as reported on the BMWK ministry website exist.de.

Today, components for satellites and spacecraft are transported costly and ineffectively into space by launch vehicles. In a world premiere, a research team from HM Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences used a 3D printer in a research rocket to automatically print a structure in open space. more in the exciting video.
