In the previous six months, Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship and HM – Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences in partnership with international universities and entrepreneurship centers worldwide has been running an eBridge SPRINT on the topic of well-being. We congratulate all the teams on their great work and passion and to the three winning teams of the first stage of eBridge SPRINT: MCARE (Germany), Homegrown (Australia) and Lifestyle (Scotland). Toposens, the Munich based startup that has developed the world’s first 3D Echolocation Sensor for automobile, robotics, and autonomous vehicles, has raised a new round of funding. The round was led by existing investor ALPANA Ventures from Switzerland, and joined by new investors Basinghall Partners from the UK, and USA-based In-Q-Tel, Inc.

Multi-disciplinary innovation for social change is the focus of attention of the EU research project SHIINE (COST-Action 18236). In this boundaries, quadruple helix innovation is the focus point of working group 4, which SCE/MUAS is dedicated to. Vacation home search engine and SCE start-up alumni Holidu raises 40 million.

Munich-based wearable startup and SCE alumni startup Proglove receives $40 million in growth capital from investor Summit Partners. With this, the company wants to expand further internationally.

The young company FAZUA can rejoice: It not only collects 12 million euros from the European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI) in a current financing round, but also 3 million euros from UVC Partners.

COMODULE and Fazua have jointly developed an app for all eBike users with Fazua evation drive system.

Stable long-term growth secured by investors. Unternehmertum Venture Capital Partners (UVC Partners) invests in FAZUA GmbH alongside existing investors HTGF, Bayern Kapital and Business Angels. Well-known bicycle manufacturers such as CUBE, Pinarello and Focus integrate the FAZUA drive system into their series products.
